'The picturesque fishing village of Lemmer'

Iselmar is located just outside the picturesque fishing village of Lemmer. The cozy center with terraces on the water, the brown pubs and the many sights such as the old lock is bustling with coziness. In addition, Iselmar is uniquely located near the beach and in the immediate vicinity of the forests.

Within walking distance you will find the large Lemster IJsselmeer beach where it is good to stay for young and old. You will also find various beaches along the inland lakes in the area of Lemmer.

Every Thursday there is a weekly market from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM on the Kortestreek and the Gedempte Gracht.

The Gaasterland forests are a short drive away. Walking, cycling, scootering and horse riding you can enjoy the beautiful nature. Activities for young and old are regularly organised in the forest. Lemmer itself is a village, but nearby you will find authentic towns such as Sloten (smallest of the eleven cities), Stavoren (with the 'lady of'), and Hindeloopen (painting and old harbour) that are definitely worth a visit.
